Where can I find great deals on chicago hotels?

Goin to chicago on April 11th , to see a concert at the metro. Looking for a really great deal on a room for that night. All the hotels in that area are over 100.00 a night , Is it possible to find a place for 70.00 or so near there?
I would try chicago.

i found a really good price for the hyatt which was amazing for only $89 instead of reg price of $200 on hotwire. The only downfall to Hotwire is that you will not find out the Hotel until after you purchase online. Their usually great hotels though.

the downtown hotels are expensive, but you can probably get a good deal at priceline.com or one of the other services like that.
There are also some spots closer to the Metro (3700 N Clark) that are nice and more ‘in the neighborhoods’ – try the City Suites Chicago; it is only 5 blocks from the Metro so you can save the $20 cab ride from the loop. There is also the Best Western Hawthorne Terrace on Broadway.
